Amazing night of SSW action here tonight at The Brat Stop for "Beat the Clock"! Remy Rainz started the night with the time to beat at 9:23, after defeating Colin Cambridge. Nick Cutler then faced Vic Capri, but neither was able to meet the challenge of the clock. Melanie Cruise then defeated Colin Smith with 1 second left on the clock, giving her the new time to beat at 9:22. Matt Dewar then beat Yabo the Clown with a time of 7:45, of which Shane Fury and William Jacobs were unable to answer. Shogun Chris Logan then defeated JP not once, not twice, but 3 times (after JP claimed to not be ready and demanded a "mulligan"...twice), setting the new time to beat at 1:23.
Then, in what would be considered a shocking upset, Grin & Sinister defeated Ryan Kross & Jeff Luxon to become the new SSW Tag Team Champions! After the match, "The Express" evoked their rematch clause for March 15th, and thus will once again face "The 3 Rings" for the titles at "Headlock on Hunger X!
The Main Event would then be Dave Rydell and Marshe Rockett battling to win the "BTC Challenge", but, with such a short time limit at 1:23, were unable to beat Shogun Chris Logan's time, and thus Shogun will go on to challenge Pauly Thomaselli for the SSW title on March 15th. Unfortunately, after the match, Pauly joined Rydell in the ring and the two attacked Marshe Rockett, but were quickly chased off by the new #1 Contender, Shogun Chris Logan. Thus, an impromptu tag team match took place, and Marshe and Shogun were victorious over Pauly and Rydell, much to the pleasure of the crowd!
And that sets us forward on the path to the epic 10th edition of Headlock on Hunger when we return to the Brat Stop on Sunday, March 15th at 4pm, and we hope to see you all there!
