SSW FALLOUT - Quick Results:
We want to take a moment to thank everyone that came out to "FALLOUT" last night and celebrated our 11th Anniversary with us. It was an amazing night, full of great matches, awesome action, and shocking twists - nothing unusual in an SSW event as of late! For those of you that could not be in attendance, here is a brief recap of last night's happenings:
SSW FALLOUT - Quick Results: THIS SUNDAY - Jester Yorick (of the "3 Rings) will face off against Jeff Luxon in a one-fall singles match. Although Yorick and Luxon have never faced each other, they do have a long history together in regards to their associations with "The 3 Rings" and "The East-West Express". The Express and The Rings were embroiled in a heated feud last year (along side their partners Grin, Machine, and Ryan Kross, respectively) that culminated in an epic street fight at our 10th Anniversary event, "Ascension". Kross and Luxon were victorious, and unfortunately, the "3 Rings" were disbanded for one year due to stipulation. Fast forward to one year later, and Luxon is the one without a partner, and Yorick re-unites with his brethren in "The 3 Rings" when these two in-ring technicians collide This Sunday at The Brat Stop in Kenosha! Machine and Kross have a long history together, as both men were embroiled in a headed feud last year (along side their tag partners Grin and Jeff Luxon, respectively) that culminated in an epic street fight at our 10th Anniversary event, "Ascension". Kross and Luxon were victorious, and unfortunately, the "3 Rings" were disbanded for one year due to stipulation. Fast forward to one year later, and Kross is the one without a partner, and Machine re-unites with his brethren in "The 3 Rings" when these two powerhouses collide This Sunday at The Brat Stop in Kenosha! Tickets on sale now: http://sswfallout.brownpapertickets.com/ The latest issue of SSW Magazine is hot off the presses, and features current SSW Champion Justice Jones on the cover. This issue takes a looking into the alliance between Justice Jones, Dave Rydell, Calvin Beckham, and their manager, Devin Diamond. This issue also features a message from SSW owner RJ Daniels, a look at Pauly Thomaselli's victory in winning the 2013 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, the break-up of "The East-West Express, a photo gallery of some of the best photos of the year, and much more! The issue will be available for sale at Fallout this Sunday and via SSWonline.com! Ruff Crossing & Scott Spade (aka "Noize, Booze, & Tattooz) defend the SSW Tag Team Championships against Dave Rydell & Calvin Beckham! Rydell and Beckham earned a shot at the titles at "Headlock on Hunger 9" this past March, defeating Pauly Thomaselli and Marshe Rockett in the process. Their alliance with Justice Jones and their manager Devin Diamond has made this group a force to be reckoned with here in SSW, and they have steam-rolled the competition thus far. They hit a roadblock in March, when Justice Jone's unexpecetedly faced Scott Spade for the SSW title, and was actually pinned and lost the title briefly to Spade. But, senior referee Mirko Joecop reversed the decision, by disqualification, which reverted the title back to Jones. Ruff Crossing is also the only man to currently hold a recorded pinfall victory over Jones, as he defeated him to win the 2012 "Lords of the Ring" tournament. This puts Ruff and Spade in the unique position of getting "1-up" on the alliance of Devin, Jones, Rydell and Beckham. As it looks like the current SSW Tag Team Champions appear to be the two men who seemed to have figured out how to bring down Devin's clients, we won't find out for sure until the match takes place this Sunday at The Brat Stop in Kenosha! THIS SUNDAY - SSW Champion Justice Jones defends his title in an open challenge match! Jones' manager, Devin Diamond, made the request to the SSW Board of Investors, going over the top of the head of the SSW owner RJ Daniels in doing so. Devin claimed RJ's personal bias towards him and his client was clouding his judgement, and an attempt to have him kept off the show. At current time, there is no official #1 contender to the SSW Championship, so, the board granted Devin's request. SSW owner RJ Daniels stated that he will be watching this situation closely, as it is a direct reflection on the integrity of the SSW Championship, as well as the decision making process of the Board of Investors. Pauly Thomaselli and Marshe Rockett square off once again at "Fallout" this Sunday in a grudge rematch from the 2013 "Lords of the Ring" finals match. This match has been a long time coming, given the ever present tension between these two competitors. Thus far, every time these two men have met in the SSW ring, it has been in the spirit of competition, but this time things may be a bit more personal between the two. Marshe Rockett has been with SSW for nearly a decade, whereas Pauly Thomaselli joined SSW just over a year ago. Even so, Pauly inserted himself into the SSW Championship title picture right after Marshe lost that very title at "Headlock on Hunger 8". The two would meet for the first time last May at "Ascension", against new champ Vic Capri, as well as Justice Jones, in an epic four-way battle for the SSW Championship that saw Vic retain his title. Melanie Cruise defends her newly won SSW Lightning Division Championship against Grin (of "The 3 Rings"). Grin is a former SSW Lightning Division Champion, having lost the title back in December to Matt Dewar in a 5 way elimination match, a match that also featured the SSW in-ring debut of Melanie Cruise. Grin eliminated Melanie with the use of a rubber chicken that was later discovered to conceal a steel pipe. Melanie hit Grin with the pipe, allowing Dewar to roll him up for a pinfall, thus winning the title. Fast forward to Headlock on Hunger 9 this past March, where Matt Dewar would defend his title in another 5-way, but this time with one-fall to a finish. Melanie Cruise would strike gold this time, pinning Jason Parks to win the match and become the new SSW Lightning Division Champion, and also the first ever female Champion in the history of SSW. Ruff Crossing takes on Vic Capri to decide the winner of Bracket 2 in the 2014 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, with the victor advancing to the "final four". Vic Capri has been on a quest to regain the SSW Championship that he lost during "The Kenosha Screw-job" that took place back in December - losing the title to Justice Jones. Due to a sneaky legal swerve, Devin Diamond had it written into the contract of the match that if Capri lost, he would not get a rematch, and he would have to work his way up from the bottom of the ranks to get another shot at the title. With the winner of the "Lords" tournament getting a guaranteed title shot in the future, Capri has vowed to defeat anyone that gets in his way...whether friend or foe...until he is able to get his rematch for the SSW title. |
