Last night at "Best in the Midwest", our 13th Anniversary Event, was arguably one of the greatest events in our history. Two new champions took the stage in unexpected fashion, three of our current champions solidified their place of dominance, another got redemption, and for six others, it was their final night in SSW!

WILLIAM JACOBS def. Rey Furia, DDS, and Draconis, in a fatal 4-way, to retain the Lightning Division Championship
JOEY AVALON & MAX HOLIDAY def. Grin & Machine, to retain the SSW Tag Team Championships PAULY THOMASELLI def. Beer City Bruiser, via pinfall, to retain the LWF Championship. After the match it was announced that going forward, Pauly would be recognized as the Midwest Heritage Champion MARSHE ROCKETT def. DJZ, via pinfall in their rematch TEAM SSW def. The Refinement Club, after Vic Capri defeated Dave Rydell via pinfall. Vic Capri also became the new SSW Champion, after cashing in his "Lords of the Ring" title shot in the closing minutes of the match. |
And with that, we end our 13th year on a high note, as nefarious antics of The Refinement Club are put to an end, Vic Capri finally gets back the SSW title that has eluded him for almost 2 years, and so much more. But, now we look forward to our 14th season coming this fall, as we take our summer break. Please check back frequently, as we will post upcoming event dates as soon as possible.
