At "Ring of Horror" on October 27th, "Noize, Booze, and Tattooz" got a chance to earn another title shot if they could defeat both members of "The East-West Express" in one-on-one competition. Ruff Crossing would successfully defeat Jeff Luxon by TKO via a sleeper hold, meaning that Ryan Kross would then face Scott Spade. During the course of the match, both Jeff Luxon and Ruff Crossing would be at ringside, and that is where the trouble began.
JEFF LUXON GETS A TASTE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE AS SCOTT SPADE KICKS THE "POWDERY SUBSTANCE" BACK INTO HIS OWN FACE
At a point where Ryan Kross looked to have possibly been injured during the match, the referee would attend to Kross as Jeff Luxon would end up throwing a "powdery substance" into the face of Ruff Crossing at ringside. But, when Luxon tried to get into the ring and do the same to Scott Spade, he was intercepted, and Spade kicked Luxon's hand, causing the powder into blast into his own face. Unfortunately, this would create enough of a distraction for Ryan Kross to roll Scott Spade into a pinfall to win the match, preventing NBT from earning another title shot.
RYAN KROSS TRIES TO HELP JEFF LUXON CLEAR HIS EYES
After the match, both Jeff Luxon and Ruff Crossing required medical attention, needing to have their eyes flushed of the harmful substance. Luckily, both men will make a full recovery, with no permanent damage to have been done. But, since "NBT" did win one match over "The Express", SSW Commissioner Devin Diamond has decided that they will get one last chance to earn another chance at the titles. On Sunday, November 24th, these two teams will once again square off in tag team competition, this time in a "Blindfold Match". Since Luxon tried to blind both members of "NBT", it seems only fitting to see how these men handle the challenge of fighting as a team without the ability to see! Add to that the stipulation that if "NBT" wins, by any form or fashion, whether via pinfall, submission, disqualification, count-out, or otherwise, they will earn a shot at the SSW Tag Team titles on December 29th, at SSW's final event of 2013, "Game of Gold".
