Melanie Cruise defends her newly won SSW Lightning Division Championship against Grin (of "The 3 Rings"). Grin is a former SSW Lightning Division Champion, having lost the title back in December to Matt Dewar in a 5 way elimination match, a match that also featured the SSW in-ring debut of Melanie Cruise. Grin eliminated Melanie with the use of a rubber chicken that was later discovered to conceal a steel pipe. Melanie hit Grin with the pipe, allowing Dewar to roll him up for a pinfall, thus winning the title.

Fast forward to Headlock on Hunger 9 this past March, where Matt Dewar would defend his title in another 5-way, but this time with one-fall to a finish. Melanie Cruise would strike gold this time, pinning Jason Parks to win the match and become the new SSW Lightning Division Champion, and also the first ever female Champion in the history of SSW.

Ruff Crossing takes on Vic Capri to decide the winner of Bracket 2 in the 2014 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, with the victor advancing to the "final four".

Vic Capri has been on a quest to regain the SSW Championship that he lost during "The Kenosha Screw-job" that took place back in December - losing the title to Justice Jones. Due to a sneaky legal swerve, Devin Diamond had it written into the contract of the match that if Capri lost, he would not get a rematch, and he would have to work his way up from the bottom of the ranks to get another shot at the title. With the winner of the "Lords" tournament getting a guaranteed title shot in the future, Capri has vowed to defeat anyone that gets in his way...whether friend or foe...until he is able to get his rematch for the SSW title.

A shocking night of SSW. Chaos ensued at the close of the show after Devin Diamond aligned himself with Justice Jones, Dave Rydell, and Calvin Beckham, costing Vic Capri the SSW Championship and going after SSW owner RJ Daniels in the process.

Regardless of the show's shocking ending, we would like to give big congratulations to Matt Dewar on winning the SSW Lightning Division Championship in his SSW debut match.  Also a big congratulations to Ruff Crossing and Scott Spade on defeating Ryan Kross and Jeff Luxon to win the SSW Tag Team titles.  Also, congratulations to Pauly Thomaselli on defeating Marshe Rockett in the finals of the 2013 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, getting the big gold trophy, as well as the guaranteed SSW title shot in the future.  Though a controversial show, we wound up 2013 with one heck of show, though we sure have alot of questions that need to be answered in 2014!

For those of you that may have missed it, we have just posted the SSW Championship Contract Signing between SSW Champion Vic Capri and #1 Contender Justice Jones from last month's event.  As many of you saw, there would be no peace between these two competitors, as a war of words would escalate into an all out brawl between the two.  An explosive moment that event half of the SSW locker room had a hard time getting control of!  Check it out:

As many of you saw, Grin defeated then SSW Lightning Division Champion Dave Rydell to become the new champion at "Ring of Horror" on October 27th, in the main event of one of our most memorable events to date.  SSW Commissioner Devin Diamond has informed us that the new Champ will be having his first title defense on November 24th, in a rematch with Dave Rydell.  Rydell was understandably upset at losing the title, and claimed to have been under duress and distracted by the disappearance of his good friend, Peter Schwanz, whom he expected to be in his corner for the match.  He also threw around unfounded allegations that Grin, and his "3 Rings" buddies had something to do with it.  Mr. Diamond has taken all things into consideration in granting Rydell's request for his rematch to take place on Sunday, November 24th, at "War is Coming", at the "Legendary" Brat Stop in Kenosha, WI.

As many of you have heard, the SSW Champion, Vic Capri, and the #1 contender, Justice Jones, had a vicious brawl at "Ring of Horror" last week that left both men battered and beaten! Though this brawl created alot of "buzz" around the growing feud between these two competitors, SSW management has distanced themselves from it due to contractual reasons. That said, we here at SSWonline.com have decided to show the footage recorded at the show that documents the unsanctioned fight that ensued! Though, we do have to stress that this WAS NOT a sanctioned SSW match and in no way endorsed by SSW, it was just a good old fashioned fight between two men, one with a huge score to settle!

A video was just posted to the SSW YouTube Channel featuring the "East-West Express" and the aftermath of their battle with "Noize, Booze, and Tattooz" from "Ring of Horror".  The funny thing is, as Kross tries to help Luxon clear his eyes, they happen to run into Melanie Cruise in the most likely of places!

"A NEW DAY" back in September ended with a vicious attack by Justice Jones on the SSW Champion, Vic Capri, after their tag team match against Marshe Rockett and Pauly Thomaselli.  Our secondary camera crew caught all the mayhem, as well as some of the aftermath as Capri was tended to backstage!

It's been a long time coming, but the recap/highlight/music video paying tribute to the past 10 years of SSW wrestling has finally been released. This video looks back at the evolution of SSW over the past decade, culminating in a recap of our 10th Anniversary event. 

For 10 years, SSW has grown and evolved from its humble beginnings back in 2003 into becoming one of the top independent wrestling promotions in the area in 2013.  SSW always has, and always will be, "Something Different".  This video takes a look back at the 10 year history of SSW, culminating in a recap of our 10th Anniversary event, ASCENSION, on May 26th, 2013, at the "Legendary Brat Stop" in Kenosha, WI.

In one of the backstage videos posted to the SSW YouTube Channel, Commissioner Diamond confronted SSW owner RJ Daniels, unhappy about not being fully informed about the things going on in SSW when he is supposed to be "the boss".  Though the focus of this video clearly seems to be Devin unhappy with RJ not keeping him in the loop, the one question that no one has asked is who exactly was RJ talking to when Devin interrupted him?
