LIGHTNING DIVISION CHAMPION GRIN DEFENDS HIS TITLE ON 12/29
The SSW Lightning Division Champion, Grin, has been scheduled to defend his title in a multi-competitor elimination style match at Game of Gold on December 29th. SSW has a long rich history with these style of matches, most notably from 2006-2008 when they were some of our most highly regarded matches on our events. The last match of this style was back in May at our 10th Anniversary event, as a rankings match for the Lightning Division. This match would feature 6 of the top prospects in the area vying for a shot at then champion Dave Rydell.
Though SSW management has not yet announced who Grin's challengers will be for this match, or for that matter how many of them there will be (though we presume it to be six as it was back in May), one thing is certain that this match will be a highlight on an already stacked card for our final event of the year.
"Game of Gold" is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 29th, 2013, at the Brat Stop in Kenosha, with a 4:00pm bell.
