It has not be absent upon most of us that to this day, there has been no official announcement in regards to the status of the SSW Championship and its current holder, Justice Jones, in regards to whether or not the title will be on the line in 2 weeks at "FALLOUT". Given recent events that have transpired, we decided to not dig into the issue, as we assumed SSW owner RJ Daniels would let us know when the time was right. Unfortunately, we got word that Jones' manager, Devin Diamond, took it upon himself to sort things out, apparently over the head of RJ. The following is a direct quote from Mr. Diamond:
"Since RJ Daniels has taken it upon himself to try and exclude my client and SSW Champion, Justice Jones, from Fallout, I thought I would take it upon myself to assure you all that not only will Justice Jones be there, but he WILL be in action.
I have contacted the SSW Board of Investors and brought it to their attention that the flagship competitor of SSW doesn't have a match on the 11th anniversary show. Due to a lack of number a one contender, the board has agreed to allow Justice Jones to defend his title in an open challenge match at Fallout.
My client is more than capable of defending his title against anyone on the roster and this will cement his status as the LEGITIMATE face of SSW.
My clients look forward to conquering their opponents at Fallout and leaving with all the gold. It's now only a matter of time." -Devin Diamond
We contacted SSW owner RJ Daniels for his response, and we were given the following:
"It is what it is." - RJ Daniels
We are sure these are troubling times for the SSW owner, and we sure hope that in due time, he will elaborate on this situation, as well as to whom is on and how much power this mysterious "board of investors" holds in SSW, especially since they just gave the green light to the SSW Champion to face pretty much anyone currently on the SSW roster on Sunday, May 25th.
