The next match would be the semi-final match in the 2014 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, where Anthony Antonelli wold take on Dave Rydell, and whomever won the match would advance to the final round to take on Jeff Luxon. Rydell would take the early lead in the match, attacking Antonelli in the corner after baiting him into a "cheer off" with the crowd. But, Antonelli would soon after answer with his own flurry of offense. In the end, Dave Rydell would be victorious after knocking the referee into the ropes as Antonelli went to the top rope, then slamming him to the mat to gain the pinfall victory!
It would then be time for the grudge match between Ruff Crossing and Yabo the Clown, which would be one of the more bizarre matches in the history of SSW. As the match began, Yabo would play mind games with Ruff, first by pausing the match to juggle. He would then offer popcorn and a balloon to Ruff, who then proceeded to engage Yabo in the contest. Yabo would evade Ruff, and take control for the opening minutes of the match, but Ruff would stop Yabo by slamming him neck first on the top rope. Ruff would dominate the match, until Yabo would catch him with a big boot in the corner, and the two would go back and forth. Ruff would attempt a tombstone piledriver, but Yabo would escape, and hit at tornado DDT on Ruff, almost scoring the win. The match would conclude after Ruff would evade a leg drop from the top rope, but frustration clearly set in that he could not put Yabo away, and Ruff would grab his bullrope and smash Yabo with the cowbell, causing a disqualification. After the match, Ruff would continue his assault on Yabo. As security would come to the ring to stop the assault, Ruff grabbed one of them, and proceeded to hit another tombstone piledriver on him. It would later on be revealed that RJ Daniels would suspend Ruff Crossing for his actions.
Up next would be the "Champion vs Champion" match for the Undisputed Lightning Division Championship, seeing Melanie Cruise return to SSW after her trip to Japan. She would face the "interim" champion Jason "JP" Parks, who represented the division in her absence. This match would see the two brawling all over the building and into the crowd, with Melanie even slamming JP on one of the merchandise tables. When they made their way back into the ring, JP would take a cheap shot and gain control, and use the opportunity in attempt to wear her down. Melanie would regain control, only to have JP pull the referee in front of her as she attempted a splash in the corner. As the referee was down, JP used brass knuckles on Melanie. But, when JP forgot to help referee before going for the pin, this gave Melanie time to recuperate, and she would catch JP with her high-rise slam, and the pinfall to win the match, and be declared "undisputed" Champion!
The next contest would be a second grudge match between Ryan Kross and "Shogun" Chris Logan. Kross challenged Shogun to the match, in response to Logan getting involved in the tag team championship match at "Ring of Horror". Kross claimed that had the referee seen him get involved, he would have cost them the titles, and he doesn't take kindly to people getting involved in his business. Of course, Logan is not one to turn away from a fight, and the match was on. The two powerhouses would lock horns and brawl back and forth, answering each other's strikes with increasing intensity in one of the more vicious battles seen in SSW. The brawl would come to a close, after Shogun would escape a press slam attempt by Kross and would go for his superkick. But, Kross would see it coming, ducking the kick, and rolling up Shogun for the pinfall!
It would then be time for the finals of the the 2014 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, between Jeff Luxon and Dave Rydell. Luxon looked questionable for the match with an injured knee, and Rydell offered Luxon to gracefully bow out of the match. But, Luxon refused, and promised to take home the trophy, and the match would ensue. Luxon would take Rydell to task with his technical prowess, but, Rydell would take the first opportunity he could to go after Luxon's knee. After taking alot of damage, Luxon was able to battle back, but when it looked like he was about to finish off Rydell, Devin Diamond would taunt Luxon from ringside, allowing Rydell to grab a chair and hit Luxon full-force in his injured knee. This caused Luxon to crumple down in pain holding his knee, as Rydell pinned him for the 3-count, and thus winning the match, as well as the tournament! The victory would also grant Rydell an SSW Championship title opportunity at any time of his choosing in the future, much like "Money in the Bank" in the WWE!
It was then time for the main event, the Triple Threat "Iron-Man" match for the SSW Championship. The match would have a 30 minute time limit, where Pauly Thomaselli defends his title against two former champions in that of Marshe Rockett and Vic Capri. Pauly would score the first pinfall in the match, after capitalizing on an "Ice-Crusher" from Vic Capri onto Marshe Rockett. Marshe would get revenge a few minutes later, by hitting his "M80" on Pauly, and another on Vic shortly after to take the lead with 2 pinfalls. Vic Capri would finally get on the board after hitting an "Ice Crusher" on Marshe that landed him on top of Pauly, leading to a pinfall on the champ. Pauly would then gain a second pinfall, after hitting Vic Capri with a brainbuster off of a drop-kick onto Marshe.
Pauly Thomaselli would finally take the lead in the match, gaining a third pinfall after reversing a roll up on Vic Capri, with only a minute left in the match. Pauly would take the opportunity to grab his belt and leave the ring, apparently assuming he had won the match as the final minute ticks away. As Vic and Marshe look on as Pauly celebrates with his belt, it become apparent that with only seconds left, that Vic was not going to let Pauly win the match like that. So, Vic dropped to the mat, and urged Marshe to pin him to tie Pauly with a third pinfall. Marshe was hesitant, but Vic was adamant in his request, and thus Marshe took the pinfall with only a few short seconds left. As the bell rung on the 30 minute mark, both Pauly and Marshe were tied with 3 pinfalls, and Vic with only 1.
Per the announced rules of the match, in the event of a tie, there would be a round of overtime with one fall to a finish. But, since Vic Capri was trailing with only 1 pinfall, he was eliminated from the remainder of the match. So, Vic gave Marshe a hug and wished him luck, and Marshe thanked him for the sacrifice pin. So, with Vic Capri out of the match, Marshe and Pauly would once again face off one-on-one.
Much like the rest of the time these two were in the ring together, Marshe and Pauly would battle back and forth in attempts to put that final point on the board and win the match. But, after Marshe would hit his "M80" on Pauly from the top rope, Devin Diamond would leave his commentary position and distract the referee from counting the final pinfall. Marshe would then chase Devin around and through the ring, then proceeding to hit Pauly with another clothesline and kick combo, putting him back on the mat. At that point, Dave Rydell appeared on the other side of the ring, getting the referee's attention. While this was happening, Devin grabbed a kendo stick from under the ring, and slammed it onto Marshe's back from ringside. Pauly would capitalize on the opportunity and it Marshe with his the "Golden Gate Swing" to gain the final pinfall and retain the SSW title.
After the match, Devin Diamond and Dave Rydell joined Pauly in the ring, revealing that Pauly has hired on Devin as his manager, much to the displeasure of the crowd. As the show came to a close, it was clear there was a new force of power in SSW, as Devin Diamond now had the SSW Champion, Pauly Thomaselli, and potential future champion, Dave Rydell, firmly in his camp, appearing that more dark days are on the horizon for all of SSW.
