OVER THE TOP - QUICK RESULTS

On Sunday, April 12th, 2015, we held our first ever "Royal Rumble" style event called "Over the Top".  It was an amazing day of SSW wrestling, filled with awesome action, unexpected happenings, and surprises!

As many of you already know, the big surprise of the show was surprise entrant in our "Championship Rumble" match, in that of international wrestling sensation, Colt Cabana!  Also, Ruff Crossing dodged a bullet when Yabo the Clown requested a match with him, after RJ Daniels publicly fired Ruff.  RJ obliged Yabo, and instead of firing Ruff, set up a "Bull-Rope" match between the two at our 12th Anniversary event on Sunday, May 24th.

Not be over looked was the big winner of the Championship Rumble, Marshe Rockett, who will now go on to face Pauly Thomaselli for the SSW title on May 24th.  This will be the "rubber match" between these two in singles match, as both men hold 1 victory apiece over each other.  Pauly defeated Marshe to win the 2013 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, which in turn gave him the opportunity to win the SSW title from Vic Capri back in August.  Marshe, on the other hand, defeated Pauly back at our 11th Anniversary event last May, when the two of them finally blew up on each other and put an end to their "friendly" rivalry.  Well, on May 24th, at SSW's 12th Anniversary event, it will be Pauly Thomaselli vs Marshe Rockett 3, and will be the final battle to decide once and for all who the better man really is!

Earlier in the show, Nick Cutler and "Shogun" Chris Logan both won their respective matches to advance in the 2015 "Lords of the Ring" Tournament, and "The East-West Express" (Ryan Kross & Jeff Luxon) successfully retained their SSW Tag Team Championships against "The Wrestling Standard" (GPA & St. Holmes), after a disqualification.  After the match, GPA and ST. Holmes took the title belts with them as they left the building, leaving the champs without their championships.

Again, a big thanks to everyone that helped make the show a massive success once again, and we look forward to returning in just a few weeks to celebrate our 12th Anniversary on Sunday, May 24th, this time at 7pm!
