After the match, Rydell would be joined by Devin Diamond in the ring, and the two would proceed to trash talk about Shogun, and Rydell would claim that he is the only man that does whatever he wants to do in SSW, not Shogun. Of course, Shogun Chris Logan would make his way to the ring, with a referee in tow, and their match would ensue at that time. During the match, Rydell would have a tough time matching the power of Shogun, and would often revert to short-cuts and cheap-shots to even the playing field. Of course, when it looked like Shogun had Rydell beat, Calvin Beckham would appear at ringside and save his tag partner from defeat by putting Rydell's foot on the rope, averting a 3-count. After Shogun turned his attention to Beckham, Rydell was able to roll-up Shogun (with a handful of tights for good measure) and score the pinfall to win bracket 4, and advance to the Semi-Finals in December.
In the next match, Jason Parks would defend his "Interim" Lightning Division Championship against the man whom he pinned (with the help of leverage from the ropes) to win the title back in August - Colin Smith. Smith would come at Parks with a house of fire, clearly upset with underhanded tactics used by the champ. But, Parks being the master of deception that he is, would once again get the victory over Smith, and again by doing so with the aide of the ropes. After the match, Parks was informed by Mr. Ricolo that Melanie Cruise would be returning to SSW at our next event, and that he would have to face her in a Champion vs Champion match in December, much to his chagrin!
It would finally be time for the Monster's Brawl match, a 4-Way match between Ruff Crossing, Yabo The Clown, Machine, and Grin, where the winner would go on to challenge Pauly Thomaselli for the SSW title in the main event. Before the match, Ruff Crossing took the mic, and berated the SSW fans for turning on him at the last show. He also pointed out that now that he didn't have Scott Spade holding him down, he was setting his sight on the SSW title, and was going to win this match. Unfortunately for him, that would not be the case, and he and Yabo the Clown would end up brawling to the outside of the ring, leaving Grin able to catch Machine in a submission, and thus winning the match and going on to challenge Pauly Thomaselli for the SSW title in the main event.
Next would be the #1 Contendership match between Marshe Rockett and Vic Capri, where the winner would go on to face the SSW Champion (either Pauly or Grin) at our next event. This match was set up earlier in the show, when Pauly Thomaselli came out to the ring to address his critics over how he won the title. Marshe Rockett came to the ring, and called him out for essentially stealing the title from Vic after the team did all the work to win the 4-on-4 match at "Best in the Midwest". Vic Capri would then come to the ring, and actually defend Pauly for doing what he said "he probably would have done to" - and that was to seize and opportunity. But, both Marshe and Vic seemed to be at odds over who who should get the next title shot, so RJ Daniels set up the #1 contendership match between the two of them. And that match would end in a double-pinfall, where both Marshe and Vic had their shoulders down, causing a draw. RJ took it upon himself to declare them both winners of the match, and thus both #1 contenders to the title, to which they would challenge either Pauly of Grin in December in a triple-threat match for the SSW Championship!
It was then time for the SSW Tag Team Championship match, where Dave Rydell & Calvin Beckham would defend against former champs, Ryan Kross & Jeff Luxon. It looked like luck had finally run out for Devin Diamond's clients, as Shogun Chris Logan would insert himself into the match, hitting a superkick on Beckham while the ref was arguing with Rydell, allowing Kross and Luxon to hit their combo Samoan Drop/Twisting Neckbreaker on Beckham, the pinfall, and once again winning the SSW Tag Team Championships!
It was finally time for the main event. The SSW Championship match, with Pauly Thomaselli making his first title defense again Grin! Grin took Pauly to task in a high-impact and technical match, that saw Pauly grow solidly out of favor with the SSW fans, as they cheered on Grin. But, to their dismay, Pauly would successfully retain the SSW title, after knocking Grin from the corner, and hitting a big elbow drop from the top rope top gain the pinfall. After the match, the crowd booed Pauly, and Mr. Ricolo proceeded to inform him that on December 28th, he would be defending his title against both Marshe Rockett and Vic Capri in an "Iron-Man" Match!
