RJ DANIELS ADDRESSES WHAT HAPPENED AT HEADLOCK ON HUNGER 10

RJ DANIELS LISTENS TO RUFF CROSSING IN THE RING PRIOR TO RUFF'S ATTACK ON RJ

As many of you know, yesterday at "Headlock on Hunger 10", SSW owner RJ Daniels was struck by Ruff Crossing, and was sent from the show to get evaluated after struggling to remain conscious when looked at by our trainers backstage.  Unfortunately, this meant that Devin Diamond, whom was recently revealed to be the senior member of the SSW Board of Investors, rightfully took command of the show, and proceeded to push his agenda once again onto the SSW roster.  After being informed of what took place at the show, RJ sent us the following note for immediate release to the public:

Dear SSW fans, friends, and family,

I am severely disheartened to not have been able to be present for the majority of Headlock on Hunger 10.  What was supposed to be one of our proudest days was marred by the unexpected actions of a small few, and to that I sincerely apologize. 

That said, I can't at all understand what was going through the mind of Ruff Crossing when he put his hands on me, but also how he could possibly think that giving such a half-hearted apology as he did was going to make right his past transgressions.  At this point, all I can assume is that, much like seems to always be the case, that Devin Diamond has clearly gotten in his ear, and has brainwashed him into doing his bidding.  Clearly, Devin used Ruff as a means to his end, and that end is always for power and control of SSW.  Sadly, due to some legal loophole, Devin got that power and control, and chose to use that power for his own personal gain.

Regardless of the reasons or excuses, Ruff Crossing is his own man, and has to accept the consequences of his actions.  Thus, I am refusing to accept his apology, and am not re-instating him to the active roster.  If Ruff wants back his spot, then I will give him one last opportunity to give a legitimate apology to myself and our staff, and to do so at our next event, Over The Top, on April 12th.  If he does not, I will terminate Ruff's contract with SSW, and wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Also, I wish to thank Jason "JP" Parks for his unexpected defense of me and chasing off Ruff and Devin's crew before they did more harm than I could brush off.  Sadly, JP was unfairly punished for his actions, and was fired by Devin after losing his match with Dave Rydell.  Unfortunately, as Devin was in his rights to do so after taking control of the show, this is not something I am going to still idly by and let stand.  Though I can not unilaterally undo Devin's action in this matter, I have been in contact with JP and the rest of the SSW board, and will be doing everything in my power to right this wrong.  Regardless of that, I wish to whole-heartedly thank JP for standing up for myself and SSW against Devin and his goons, and when the chips were down doing what he felt was right.  I promise I will make things right!

I also want to address Devin's manipulation of both the Marshe Rockett vs Matt Dewar match, as well as the SSW/LWF Championship match between Pauly Thomaselli and Shogun Chris Logan.  First, I want to congratulate both Marshe Rockett and Matt Dewar for stealing the show last night with their fantastic match.  It's just a shame that such a great match would be tarnished by Devin's power-trip, when he reversed the decision of the match after Marshe won, giving the win to Dewar and advancing him in the 2015 "Lords of the Ring" tournament.  Again, it may not have been the right thing to do, or even fair, but unfortunately, his decision was final, and thus stands.  Also, I can't voice my displeasure with Devin's decision to name Dave Rydell the "guest referee" for the SSW/LWF title match.  Again, although he had the right to do so, this was just another attempt by he and his goons to manipulate the outcome in his favor.  Although the ends fell in Pauly's favor in retaining the titles, I am glad to see the fractures forming in his cabal, and watching Rydell and Pauly looking to tear each other apart at the close of the show.  I could not be happier to see that "Team Diamond" is not as cohesive of a unit as they have pretended to be, and I expect to see more fireworks in the near future.  I also want to let "Shogun" Chris Logan know that I saw what happened, and I will not forget that he was screwed, and will make sure that one way or another he gets another chance at the SSW title, and it will be a fair one!

Finally, I want to congratulate Ryan Kross & Jeff Luxon on regaining the SSW Tag Team Titles for an amazing 3rd time!  This is an awesome accomplishment!  Also, big thanks to Billy Whack for coming to SSW and backing up Kross and Luxon in their match, as well as granting us the honor of hosting the LWF title in our main event!  Lastly, congrats to Melanie Cruise on retaining her Lightning Division Title for now over one full year, another amazing accomplishment! 

So, in closing, we have less than a month until "Over the Top" on April 12th, where for the first time ever we will be doing a "Royal Rumble" style match for #1 contendership to the SSW Championship.  The winner of that match will challenge the SSW Champion, at our 12th Anniversary event on May 24th.  I will be making some big announcements in the near future in regards to the competitors, as well as other matches on the card, so, I ask that you all stay tuned to our website and social media pages for all the latest news and updates as arrive!
