It has just been confirmed that the second "Lords of the Ring" qualifier match of the 2015 tournament will be taking place this Sunday at "Over The Top", and will feature "Shogun" Chris Logan taking on Sinister (a member of "The 3 Rings").
Shogun has proven himself to be an impact player here in SSW, and the fans are firmly in his corner now. He had a dominant showing at "Beat the Clock" back in February, where he earned a shot at SSW Champion Pauly Thomaselli with an impressive time of 1:23. Although Shogun was unable to defeat Pauly at "Headlock on Hunger" last month, he did show everyone that he is a legitimate contender for the title here in SSW, and Sunday's match is his first step on the road to earning another title shot.
Unfortunately, standing in Shogun's path is the big man Sinister, the powerhouse of "The 3 Rings". Sinister arrived in SSW back in February, and alongside Grin scored the upset over Ryan Kross and Jeff Luxon to take home the SSW Tag Team titles. Although "The Express" won the titles back last month, Sinister has made quite the impact himself in his short time here in SSW. So, for the first time, he will enter the SSW ring as a solo competitor, also with his sights set on winning the 2015 "Lords" tournament, and earning a future SSW Championship match.
So, whomever wins this Sunday, whether it be Shogun or Sinister, either way, the rest of the competitors in this years tournament will have their hands full if they have the "unluck of the draw" and have to face either of these two men later this year!
