On Saturday night, July 22nd, SSW Pro Wrestling reaches our 100th live event milestone, where all SSW champions will be defending their titles. With 4 big epic matches already slated for the event, SSW owner RJ Daniels has announced that one more big match will be taking place - the "Retro Rumble" match!
So, what is the "Retro Rumble" match you might ask? Well, essentially, it will be a variation of the WWE's "Royal Rumble" as most know it. But, this time, the spin on it will be that the match is open to any SSW competitor, past and present, and is already confirmed to feature some big names from the 14 year history of SSW Pro Wrestling! Also, to sweeten the deal, the winner of the rumble match will go on to join Grin and Vic Capri in the main event as they challenge William Jacobs for the SSW Championship!
SSW has previously featured a few rumble style matches over the years, the last of which took place in 2015 at the aptly named "Over The Top" event! The match was chock full of great moments, the most notable of which was the surprise appearance of midwest wrestling legend, COLT CABANA!
