On Sunday evening, May 26th, we wrapped up our 11th season with the epic event "FALLOUT" at The Brat Stop in Kenosha, WI! It was an amazing event, maybe our best ever, full of amazing action, awesome matches, unforgettable moments, and shocking surprises...as most SSW events have become to be known for! As the show began, our Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Ricolo, welcomed the crowd, paid respect to our fallen heroes in observance of Memorial Day, and proceeded to start the show. Just as he did, he was interrupted by Devin Diamond and the SSW Champion - Justice Jones. Devin stated that his client was not going to wait to make his open challenge for the SSW title, and that whomever was going to step up should come out and face him right then and there. Moments later, "The High Priest" William Jacobs appeared on stage, and made his way to the ring to challenge Jones for the SSW title. During the match, Jacobs appeared to take easy dominance over Jones, knocking him down numerous times with little to no defense from the SSW Champion. Unexpectedly, Jacobs stopped his "assault" on Jones, turned towards Devin Diamond at ringside, and was then handed an envelope by Mr. Diamond. Jacobs took a moment to inspect the contents of the envelope, then tucked it into his tights. He then turned around towards Jones, the two "high-fived", and then Jacobs fell to the mat and Jones pinned him to retain the SSW title. It was an apparent ruse concocted by the three to once again ensure Justice Jones was to retain the SSW Championship. After a brief celebration by Justice Jones, SSW owner RJ Daniels appeared on stage, and reminded everyone that he promised to keep an eye on this match. He stated that he knew there was no way this was going to go down on the straight and narrow, and that he warned the Board of Investors not to trust anything to do with Devin Diamond. So, he proceeded to announce that he had made a backup plan should they try to pull anything, and announced that Justice would in fact be defending the SSW title once again later on in the night. This time, it would be against RJ's hand picked opponent, "The Urban American Dream" Willie "Da Bomb" Richardson! The first scheduled match of the evening would then take place, in that of Jeff Luxon versus Jester Yorick of "The 3 Rings". Yorick came to the ring all by himself, with Machine and Grin surprisingly absent from their big return to SSW. Jeff Luxon then came to the ring in an all new patriotic fashion, sporting patriot gear and waving Old Glory, and a "USA...USA" chant broke out. Yorick and Luxon would square off in a fairly evenly matched battle, seeing both men go back and forth with control of the match. But, Grin would make his way to ringside, and grab Luxon's attention. Given the long history between Grin and Luxon, it appeared that something was about to happen, but in a flash, Yorick rolled up Luxon for the pinfall, winning the match, Yorick joined Grin on the stage, as Luxon looked stunned by the loss. Clearly, "The 3 Rings" we on the same page this night, and Luxon was their first victim! The next contest would be a 4 Way Double Elimination match to advance in Bracket 3 of the 2014 "Lords of the Ring" tournament. Former SSW Lightning Division Champion, Matt Dewar, would join Jason Parks, Nick Cutler, and Anthony Antonelli in the match, where when one man makes a pinfall or submission, he would advance and leave the match, and eliminate his opponent from the tournament. Matt Dewar would advance by making the first fall on Jason Parks, thus eliminating him. Anthony Antonelli would then eliminate Nick Cutler, and advance. So, the finals of bracket 3 were now set, and we will soon see Anthony Antonelli square off against Matt Dewar in the finals of Bracket 3. It would then be time for the final round match of Bracket 2 of the tournament, where "The Icepick" Vic Capri would square off against one half of the SSW Tag Team Champions, Ruff Crossing. These two men are no strangers to each other, both multiple time champions in their own rights, and also long-time friends and rivals. Capri would take the mic prior to the start of the match, and explain to Ruff that he respects him, but his goal is regaining the SSW Championship, and that if he hast to go through Ruff to get his shot, he will do whatever he has to do, and it's nothing personal. The two shook hands, and the match ensued. The two men were evenly matched, going toe-to-toe for the first part of the match. Shortly in, Dave Rydell and Calvin Beckham appeared at ringside (who were to challenge Ruff & Spade for the tag titles later in the show) and appeared to watch the progress of the match. Ruff and Vic continued to battle each other in the match, until Rydell and Beckham both tried to intervene in the match, only to both get tossed out without making contact with either competitor, allowing the match to continue. As the match appeared to nearing it's end, Ruff and Vic were brawling back and forth, when Rydell and Beckham both attacked, causing a double disqualification, and thus neither man would advance in the tournament. As the two continued to attack, Ruff's partner Scott Spade rushed to the ring to chase off the duo before they could do any further damage to Ruff or Vic. Clearly, this was a strategy concocted by Rydell and Beckham to gain the upper hand on the tag team champions in their match later on. Up next was supposed to be the SSW Lightning Division Championship Match with Melanie Cruise defending here title against Grin. Alas, it was not to be, as after the opening bell, Grin left the ring and took the mic. He proceeded to inform Melanie that he was no longer looking to get his title back (as she was directly responsible for his losing the title a few months prior), that now he was only looking to get revenge! At that time, his fellow "3 Rings" members Machine and Jester Yorick would join him and surround the ring. Before they could enter the ring, Jeff Luxon rushed to the ring to defend Melanie. Still outnumbered, Grin, Machine, and Yorick entered the ring, and circled the two. As it looked like they were about to strike, a siren hit, and was followed by the familiar entrance music of Ryan Kross, whom then appeared on the stage. Kross came to the ring and chased off "The 3 Rings", and proceeded to challenge Grin, Machine, and Yorick to a 3-on-3 Tag Team match later in the show! Mr. Ricolo then announced that RJ Daniels had made the match official, and it would be the "Main Event" of the evening! After a brief intermission, it was then time for the SSW Tag Team Championship match, where Ruff Crossing & Scott Spade would defend their titles against Dave Rydell & Calvin Beckham, who would take the ring first. But, as the recognizable music of "Noize, Booze & Tattooz" began to play, they never appeared on the stage. Instead, as Rydell & Beckham had their attention on the stage, Ruff & Spade entered the ring through the crowd, and proceeded to kick off the match catching the two off-guard. Ruff & Spade dominated Rydell & Beckham for a good portion of the match. But, as the match broke down in the closing minutes, Ruff would find himself sent head-first into the corner-post by Rydell, as Beckham would hit Spade over the head with his personal mirror, knocking him out cold (and busting him open in the process). Beckham would get the pinfall on Spade, defeating the champs, and thus winning the Tag Team titles for he and Rydell. The three men would celebrate as Vic Capri would come to ring to assist Ruff Crossing in helping Scott Spade to return to the locker room. It would then be time for the Grudge Match between Pauly Thomaselli and Marshe Rockett. The last time these two men locked horns, it was in the finals of the 2013 "Lords of the Ring" tournament, where Pauly was victorious, and earned a shot at the SSW title. At that time, the two were engaged in friendly competition, but this time, things were more personal between the two, as over the past few months, they have butted heads inside and out of the ring. So, in the opening moments of the match, Pauly refused to shake Marshe's hand, and the two would battle back and forth in a contest reflective of how well these two rivals know each other. It was a solid back and forth battle, that would have Marshe get the upper hand on Pauly, hitting his "M-80" off the top rope, and thus defeating him via pinfall. Another great match from these two great competitors, and we are sure this won't be the last time these two men square off in the SSW ring, since the score is now "one and one" between them, and a tie breaker it surely to come in the not-to-distant future. SSW owner RJ Daniels then came to the ring to introduce the 2014 SSW "Hall of Honor" inductee, Remy Rainz. After a round of applause from the crowd, Remy took the mic and accepted the award. But, before he was able to complete his acceptance speech, SSW Champion Justice Jones (followed by Beckham and Rydell) would come to the ring and remind everyone that it was he who was responsible for putting Remy on the shelf. He then told Remy that if he ever returned to SSW again, that he would do more than just end his career. But, Remy retaliated with a preemptive strike on Jones, catching the champ off guard, and knocking him out of the ring. Before Jones could respond, Willie "Da Bomb" Richardson came to the ring, and joined Remy to fend off Jones and his crew. Willie then told Remy he could handle it from here, and the two shook hands, and Remy headed to the back. Obviously, it was now time for Justice Jones to defend the SSW Championship against Willie Richardson, arguably the biggest threat to Jones' title to date. And Willie held nothing back during the match, going blow for blow with the champ, matching not only the power and quickness Jones brought to the table. But, as it appeared Willie was about to get the upper hand and take the title from Jones, it would be a momentary distraction by Devin Diamond that almost ended Willie's hopes as Jones gained the upper hand. But, Willie defied the odds to once again put the champion on the defense. As it looked like Willie was about to pull out the win, he got caught on the top rope by Jones, slammed to the mat, and suffered the pinfall - unfortunately being defeated. Jones and his cohorts would then add insult to injury by attacking Willie after the match, until being chased off by Vic Capri and Marshe Rockett. Devin took the mic and stated that now that his clients all have what they want, it is time that he gets what he wants. He called out RJ Daniels, and demanded that he be given what he rightfully deserves, in that of control of SSW...or he would take it! SSW Owner RJ Daniels would join Vic, Marshe, and Willie in the ring and respond to Devin's declaration of intent to take over SSW. RJ told Devin that if he wanted it, to come and take it. He said was sick of dealing with Devin and his goons, and that when SSW returns on August 31st (to kick off our 12th season), Devin would join Jones, Rydell, and Beckham in a match against a 4 man team that will be hand picked by Vic Capri. RJ also added that if Devin's team wins, he could have SSW because he wouldn't want it anymore. But, if Vic's team wins, Vic would get back the SSW Championship that was "stolen" from him by Jones back in December at "Game of Gold". Devin quickly agreed to the terms, with Justice Jones noticeably unhappy with the decision made by his manager. It was then finally time for the epic 6 person mixed tag team match, where the SSW Lightning Division Champion Melanie Cruise would team with Ryan Kross & Jeff Luxon (The East-West Express) to take on Grin, Machine, and Jester Yorick (The 3 Rings). Melanie entered the ring first, looking to finally square off with Grin one-on-one, but Grin tagged out and brought in Jester Yorick. After a brief series of moves, Melanie tagged in Jeff Luxon, and shortly after, Yorick tagged in Machine. Machine demanded Ryan Kross be tagged in, and so the two big men in the match would butt heads...literally. Kross would get the upper hand on Machine, and he, Melanie, and Luxon would dominate the first part of the match. But, Luxon would find himself overpowered by Machine later in the match, and "The 3 Rings" would take turns getting their shots in on him in a series of fast tags that kept Luxon on his heels. Luxon thought he caught a break by powering out of a camel clutch by Yorick, and turing the move into an "electric chair", but Grin and Machine stopped him from making a tag. Not long after, Yorick and Luxon would both go for a cross-body block, leaving both men struggling to make a tag, and they both did. At this point, the match fell apart into chaos, as all 6 competitors brawled inside and out of the ring. Melanie would hit Machine with a DDT, and find herself one-on-one with Grin. Grin would attempt to hit her with the "rubber chicken", but Melanie would dodge, kick Grin, and then hit a one-arm slam and cover him for the pinfall. Shocked, Grin would roll out of the ring, not believing what just happened. Melanie, Kross and Luxon would celebrate in the ring, as "The 3 Rings" looked on in disbelief at their defeat! Mr. Ricolo would then once again congratulate the winners, and thank everyone for coming out to the show and supporting us for our 11th Anniversary, and the crowd cheered on as the show came to a close. It was an amazing show, an amazing end to an amazing year, and very high stakes put on the table for our return on August 31st, 2014, to kick off our 12th year!
