The new SSW Champion, "The Icepick" Vic Capri, will be making his first title defense in his third reign against a mystery opponent this Sunday at The Brat Stop in Kenosha at our Season Premiere event. Vic won the title after "cashing in" his "Lords of the Ring" title shot back in May, defeating the former champ, Dave Rydell. Due to the fact that there is currently no established #1 contender to the title, SSW owner RJ Daniels announced that ANYONE that thinks they deserve a shot at the title is welcome to come to SSW and challenge the champ!
As it is, this is a rare opportunity for someone to not only get their foot in the door, but, also possibly climb to the "top of the mountain" here in SSW. Even if the challenger that steps forward this Sunday fails to dethrone the champ, an impressive showing none-the-less would go along way to helping that person gain recognition as a legitimate contender...not only here in SSW, but throughout the region. As everyone knows, Vic Capri is one of the toughest men in the midwest, and going through him is a feat few have accomplished...and most of the time, done in nefarious fashion. This Sunday, whomever steps up to the plate better be ready to swing for the fences!
